This gentle, windblown boy was a very special piece to make (see story below)! He sports a kind eye, wrinkles, veining, natural texture, tousled yet smooth mane and forelock, little eyelashes, and finished with a rustic background and border. He measures 4" x 4". He will be limited to 60 unpainted pieces in white resin, with 10 copies retained as artist proofs.
He is $35.50 US ppd each for unpainted copies (each). Shipping via USPS first class with tracking. Sales are final but if you have any issues with your piece please contact as soon as possible.
Pieces will need prepping prior to painted/customizing (sanding, smoothing, primer, etc) so these are sold as UNFINISHED pieces that you can paint to your liking. Some pieces already have minor prep started by myself (pin holes filled). Note that as these were cast by myself that the backs or edges of the pieces may have bubbles or imperfections which can be corrected with prep if desired.
Painted copy shown is only an example and not included with the sale

What is in a name?
So this medallion is very special to me as I started him and almost finished him in one day: on my dad's birthday. I lost my father a little over two years ago, and I can't express how much I miss him. I was randomly inspired though on his birthday, and decided to try something brand new which resulted in this bas-relief, and I'd like to think my dad is very proud if it as well. So in honor of my dad, this medallion is "Arizona Slim".
My dad was a cowboy action shooting champ, and was well known in the area by his "competitor name" of Arizona Slim as he was tall and lanky (and quick as a bullet -pun intended- with his target shooting craft). We still have his action rig (his belt with gun holsters) with his Arizona Slim name embossed into it. So that's why this piece is very special to me: not because it's my first 100% sculpt, but because it reminds me of my dad, and the times I watched him shoot and the times he took me out to target shoot together. It was an awesome ride from start to finish on creating this piece, and I know my dad would really like it as well.
The painted copy shown in the photos is for advertising purposes only and is apart of my personal collection. Primered resin (grey) is to show detail. You will receive a white-resin copy.
